Studio Bind's adaptations of random ass CGDCT nobody has heard of has the best animation of their respective seasons while MT from season 2 onwards is mediocre at best. MT is now the red-haired stepchild of Bind and I don't know how it got to be this way.

Obviously because MT is only interesting because of its premise. None of the characters feel like they have any agency and the world is stagnant and uninspired. Fucks sake man, an entire season of an isekai centered around the MC having ED is pathetic, even by Japanese standards. At least the isekai'd as a vending machine was ludicrous enough to warrant a single shitty season, actually dedicating resources or money into this shit would be a terrible idea.

The world has a detailed history and characters do things apart from Rudy. Almost everything he does is with the help of his friends.

Meanwhile this season has CITY ehich mogs everything in the animation department but nobody talks about it because the comedy is, unsurprisingly, very hit or miss.
