It's crazy how common shitty forced good endings are that I was actually nervous for the entire final chapter whether it would have some dumb, shitty tagged on happy ending where they get together after all, but thank god, the author sort of delivered and it was a satisfying ending where they don't get together and he's friendzoned till the bitter end.

Hmm, cryptic reply, but I'm going to say that you like shitty tagged on good endings which completely ruin the original concept and by that I may thus infer that you are, indeed, a virgin.

Try consuming fiction for an actual good plot instead of self-insertion escapism for once.

Sorry, your pic almost kills me of cringe.
I also don't like to waste my time on a series where the main thing is the romance that still fails in the end making me waste my time.
Especially when the cover looks like such a sugary crap.

It's not sugary, that's the point. The protagonist, right, is super popular with everyone swooning over him and coldly turns all love declarations down but then falls in love himself with middle and is thoroughly friendzone and now he has to deal with that feeling which makes him understand the feelings of all those people he turned down more.

Thankfully they didn't get together at the end and he's still thoroughly friendzoned. Middle was just rejected by someone else and now understands his broken heart a bit too and agrees to be more sensitive towards it, that's it.

Also, there's still such a thing as making the main thing romance and having a bad ending, like I don't know many very famous romance titles. Virginal self-inserters who only read fiction for escapism will never get that.

>King's Beast
>Sartain
>狐の許嫁は嘲り嗤う
>なめて、かじって、ときどき愛でて
>Vampire Dormitory

All completely unsatisfying endings because they suddenly had to have a happy ending out of nowhere.

I don't know about picrel, nor will I ever read it.
But it looks like a manga whose central focus is romance, what is the appeal of reading something like that if the romance never blossoms or goes anywhere

It isn't the central focus. The central focus is seeing things from the other side and being on the other side of the fence and also how everyone is an individual and different and how everyone processes heartbreak and unrequited feelings differently.

But most of all, if during the final chapter centre suddenly answered right's feelings, that would just be bullshit because he's been rejected quite clearly and centre is in love with someone else so it would just come out of nowhere with no explanation to create a forced happy ending and thank god that didn't happen. Centre also got rejected and now gains a deeper understanding of how right feels as well and the story went full circle with it starting with right now gaining a deeper appreciation of the feelings of all the people he had so mercilessly rejected up till that point.
