I don't remember all that clearly because I've been working from home for most of the last six years but I'm pretty sure I had a couple moments like that

The only person who said anything about my tie was from HR and I'm pretty sure they didn't know the series.

kind of based kind of soulless. "Worked" in a clinic doing paper records until we got the tech for digital records. Also confirmed patients' appointments. Stayed two weeks behind on record jobs when it was feasible to do them same day. Had a cubicle where I could be in my own world away from patients. Huge pirate, had an external hdd filled with music to listen to all day. Was in the South in a small town and worked with an office full of married women, so I had very little in common with coworkers. Arrived late to work every day. Constantly surfed the web and accomplished very little each day. Drug salesmen brought amazing catered food at least twice a month, usually once a week. Looking back, I was such a lazy retard. I'm grateful everyone there put up with me.

That's more wish fulfillment. Do people even try and date co-workers? You either get moved or fired.

They do and it makes the best workplace drama of all, it can end in a shitshow of such magnitude people get fired or long lasting meaningful relationships, and everything in between, Ive been witness to both ends and several in betweens.

How else are you supposed to find a partner other than fucking tinder? That's the only place for the average joe to socialize and make connections with the opposite gender
