They're a couple, right?
I swear, every time I rewatch this scene it just reinforces my belief that these two have that weird “married couple” energy. The way they bounce off each other, one being deadpan and the other losing her mind over the most random crap like, come on, "A ballpoint pen of a rabbit from Saturn"? Who else but these two would have a conversation like that and somehow understand each other perfectly?
It’s not even just this episode either. They’re always paired up in group shots, they have their own little side jokes nobody else gets, and their reactions are perfectly in sync half the time. The writers had to know what they were doing.
Also, this pen bit kills me every single time. It’s such a useless piece of information and yet it’s delivered with the seriousness of someone revealing a government secret. And the other one just stares like, “Yeah, that’s my idiot, I’m stuck with her.” Peak couple energy.
