I recently watched it because of the constant shilling there was on /a/ and really liked it.
My favorite episode is the one where Yamazaki had to leave Tokyo to inherit the farm in his hometown. I really like sad farewells.

It's one of the greats. I rewatched in the winter just past. Great show with an especially good soundtrack

Yamazaki proves that what most NEETs need now is a friend, not a girlfriend which is the last thing a mentally drained young man needs.

that episode really made me understand yamazaki as a person, it was really sad seeing him throw everything away since he knew he'd never be coming back.

Yeah. Also, the fact that the game they spent the entire anime making was a flop adds to the emptiness. You really could feel how lonely Satou was in that dark room in that scene, and how the anime was heading for the end.

Life is just a big bowl of nothing and then you die, never coming close to comprehending it cause there is no such thing. What a farce.

Do you guys recommend the manga or the anime? I tried reading it but I was off put by the fact that satou straight up looks at cp instead of in the anime itโ€™s just pornagraphic drawings. Iโ€™ve seen the anime once a long time ago so Iโ€™m not sure if I should rewatch or stick to the manga.
