It's not funny as in "laugh your ass off funny", more like amusing, and that's all I want from a show like this. Very much enjoying the watch. Especially when he realized he could have typed "Is still very attractive" in his special notes to completely bypass the ugliness stat, kek. Poor bastard.

its an extremely derivative anime, even amongst the very derivative isekai genre. If you want something truly different, and good, go watch Apocalypse Hotel. Best anime of 2025, no contest. Especially because s2 of Kaiju no.8 has been very mid so far.

I have no idea why the director of this season thought it was a good idea for a silent, cowardly protag to exist solely inside his own head, commenting on everything around him constantly, for a concept for an isekai show.
The entire point of the isekai genre is for an MC/protag to be a pro-active character. Its a negative subversion of the genre that renders the entire show redundant.
