No actually, its incredibly noticeable. It's one of the most jarring season to season quality drops I've ever encountered in fact.

The source material is equally crummy. The premise of 'old dude is strong because he's a powerlevel' was trampled on by how soldiers' gear makes them all powerlevels. The soldiers should've stayed realistic while he was a super among them.
