When I was a boy, I dismissed the first OP of Overlord, Clattanoia.

>What is this autotuned gook wailing about? His "miselies" and "mystelies"? What is this pussy ass rainbow shit? What is this audiovisual diarrhea? What is this coombait yandere?
I looked at the surface, and saw that rainbow intro that reminded me of disco ball colors and ridiculously colorful candy wrap, followed by a bunch of powerpoints of characters with these graphic and visual design an indian would make, and these two RIDICULOUS children joyfully hopping around - but that is all noise, the shavings from someone's well-made wooden carving.
But now I am obsessed with the first ten seconds of the opening.
An uneducated man would be forgiven for assuming the creation of it went something like this:
>eeehh? nani? sugee... kira kira.... Tanaka-san, mite mite! Lainbow desu!
>*director comes in, retrieving the designated studio seppuku ceremonial tanto*
>Kenji-kun, you bling dishonor to our studi- Ehh? Nani? Kira-kira.. Ehh... Sugee...
>*throws the tanto aside, yelling YOOOOOOUUUUUUUUUUUUU*
>PASSHON! Ora ora! Put all that in, Kenji-dono! You earned your koku of rice with this one
But in reality, these guys knew EXACTLY what they were doing. I can see it clear as day, now that I've matured, read everything from Sumerian mythology to Scandinavian, and absorbed the core philosophy of alchemy. I'm running out of space.
