There's still plenty of OC being made in threads about specific shows. Boardwide OC like that pic fell out of fashion in part because Ape-approved mods will delete anything that isn't a grandfathered project like /a/ draws, /a/ sings, etc., and in part because no one wants to guide tourists to the remaining good threads that still create OC.

It's surprisingly easy to get a chain of OC going by creating one original thing. You'd know if you ever tried instead of complaining.
