Any other series more known for their anime adaptation than the original manga? Whenever people talk about FMA, it’s always scenes from the show, no one brings up panels. Maybe dragon ball applies, Goku going super saiyan isn’t as dramatic as it was in the anime and that’s the moment everyone remembers

Lucky Star, K-On!, Azumanga Daioh, Nichijou, Death Note, Naruto, Hokuto no Ken, JoJo...
Basically every big anime, just by account of anime having much bigger audience reach than manga, at least outside of Japan. And the list is even longer if you include anime adapting VNs or LNs instead of only manga.
