generally, this show looks absolutely gorgeous for being from 2002, when the transition from cel to digital wasn't too smooth whatsoever. most of the anime from around that time look extremely dated, but not petite princess yucie. i would recommend if you like gainax shenanigans. it reminds me a lot of the much later trigger anime little witch academia.

the previous episode, episode 6, was also great, storyboarded by kazuya tsurumaki himself. had almost a shinbou-adjascent gothic-horror setting in the beginning portion before switching over to a cutesy nun-filled story.
