Because it assumes theres a higher power attempting to correct things and the higher power would have no reason to pull a correction when they already allowed the two worlds to interact with time travel. When time travel does exist it can only create a new reality that exists alongside the other one. The being interacting with the new world is just another resident now regardless of how they influence it to go differently than their previous world.
