Also the whole sex thing is just an excuse for Fujimoto to write his usual misery porn thing where the protagonist achieves nothing and constantly loses everything.
Which is why Denji isn't any closer to his goals after 200 chapters than he was at the very beginning.

Denji is a complex character. For him, sex partially represents the achievement of a normal life, but not completely since he was ready to throw away his normal life for a chance to become Chainsaw Man again and hook up with lots of girls. It also partially represents human connection, but not entirely since he was ready to sever his connection to Nayuta when it got in the way of, you guessed it, getting attention as Chainsaw Man. He isn't interested in sex solely for the sake of it since, if he was, he would've done it with Himeno or Power, and he didn't.

Fujimoto is obviously tired of writing Chainsaw Man but can't quit because it's his cash cow, so what I am sure of is that the story will continue to spin its wheels for as long as possible until he gets the axe warning.
Once he gets that warning, there's 3 ways he can go
>He ends it with Denji becoming a better person and finding happiness in a normal life, to please the audience that supported him this whole time.
>He ends it with Denji never learning anything and also possibly dying, out of spite for the audience making him continue to write a story beyond the point he cares about it.

That's interesting. But from the story it seems like it's more layered than it seems at first glance. In reality, does Denji really want sex in a meaningless absurd way or is he just confused and doesn't know what he wants in your opinion?
