I dunno. He found a niche that fit him, difficult to say if that would really translate to more mainstream success.

I dunno.
He's popular to a very particular audience. That doesn't exactly mean it has mainstream appeal.
Plus there's a lot more work involved for making a full manga.
If he can succeed off mini-comics and eroticas, I don't really see the need to change.
