This wasn't the exact moment. Although there was a noticeable dip in quality from chapter 91 onward the Marley arc was still enjoyable and the beginning of WfP had its moments. The exact moment everything went to shit was when Eren activated the rumbling. It's fucking crazy how quickly the writing nosedives afterward

The manga doesn't really go to shit until they finally catch up with Eren and the conga line of shitty retcons and isayama refusing to commit to an ending creates one of the worst endings in modern manga.

No anon, not everything has to be about race wars. It was absolutely ridiculous that everyone was lining up to kill their own companions to save a world that loathes them. It was already ridiculous that everyone in the world sided with Marley to destroy Paradis, especially since they became Paradis 2.0 using Titans in their expansion wars and not feeling even slightly ashamed about it. "Muh Tyburn charismatic speech" was ridiculous. Everything in the narrative, from "Some countries don't want to side with Marley since they hate them" to "We have allies outside," was thrown aside to focus on the Rumbling and stopping it, since that was the course Isayama chose. "To save the world" was the final nail in a narrative that threw away any sense of logic for an obvious and forced route, with everyone acting ridiculous and out of character to follow it.

The last good chapter in AoT was 116, since it seemed bring so many character arcs to a satisfying conclusion.
Then the Rumbling happened and we had that retarded miniarc about that fucking plane, Anne being reduced to an uguu kawaii waifu who never has to respond for her crimes, the whole Edo Tensei battle bullshit, the fucking leaf, the epilogue in the bonus pages and so much other fucking shit.
It's hard to pick an exact moment when AoT went full retard, but at least I know the last moment when it was good.
