You know, thinking about it, Code Geass has some incredible girls. I don't think the anime would have been as memorable or as legendary without such a spectacular female cast.

Also fuck Kallen for getting cold feet on this, Lelouch could have had a harem of ride-or-die bitches.

Kallen is the worst by far. CC appeals to Lelouch vi Britannia, Shirley appeals to Lelouch Lamperouge, and Kallen appeals to Zero. Meaning it's the most shallow love.

For me, it's Cornelia.

Honestly, given how close Milly and Lelouch are in the first season, with Milly being the only one at Ashford who knows Lelouch is a prince, AND given how both Lelouch and Milly deeply care for Shirley, I always thought you could do something where, once Shirley dies, Milly and Lelouch start up kind of a sad romance with each other in the wake of her death. Their shared grief over Shirley bringing them together and driving them into an intimate relationship out of a desire for comfort and to fill the hole Shirley's demise has left in their life.

Would have been sad, but pretty, I think.

C.C. is the only one who was ride-or-die tho (with an emphasis on the latter half for most of the series)
