I think they had a poll at one point about which of the parts of the original promotion people were most interested in. Branded won because it's the first lore archetype that went big, and Striker won because it was the stinger with a completed manga behind it.
Theoretically could have reached an Eldlich or other archetype's story, but the studio's resources seem to mostly be going to a Suikoden anime with this as a side project.
