I tried watching the anime on goyflix, after 4 eps I gave up. So painfully uninteresting and dull as dishwater. Haven't read the manga but the writing seems geared towards middle schoolers so I must be too old for it.

Even with way fewer episodes than others, it still ranked 7th.
Adjust for episode count and it’s basically the most popular anime on Netflix. Naruto, One Piece, Conan, and Pokémon are only hogging the top because they’ve got sheer volume.

Unironically 2nd cour is way better. I didn't read manga and for me 1st season was really mid.

The only reason to read this manga is that almost every chapter has high quality art with great fights and choreography. What's the point in making an adaptation that looks worse? In fact, the manga is already good enough and you can follow the action well enough, it would be better to adapt something that's actually shit to try and salvage it than waste time making inferior versions of good things.
