I'm patiently waiting for the Chinese gacha. ROS was fine, but seeing as how it's the umpteenth Bleach game that just goes up to the arrancar arc then stops, I don't see myself buying it.

What I like about mobile anime games is the fact that their backgrounds are actually anime-esque.

Character models in anime games after FighterZ's success are starting to look a tad better, not good enough, but proper cel shading is a start. But the backgrounds/maps/environments still look like generic unreal engine tech demos and it clashes with the characters. Not so much with ROS because the shading on the models sort of blended in with the map, but it looks like shit in most other games, like Sparking Zero.

I have no idea about the reception of Bleach in China, but both the Naruto and OP games do pretty well, and 2 of the 3 of them had lower quality production. Unless SR gets another delay, I don't think it's going to be dropped by the community, especially when there's no other Chinese bleach game to pick up the slack. There's Brave Souls but it isn't an ARPG

Also, I don't think it'd do well internationally until it has a bunch of characters and the story is at least up to fullbring.

I think about many anime live actions and I just come to the conclusion the Japanese can't do it.
Bleach especially, so many of the characters look so rugged and muscular and western, you just can't have a japanese Yhwach, they don't have this kind of mustache and aura.
Kenpachi is another one that requires a far stronger casting than what's available there. And it's not random, I mean Bleach has a ton of nationalities, it would be easier to make an international Hollywood film and just get Asian actors for the ones that are coded asian such as Ishida and Gin

I dont think Hueco Mundo is atrocious. Its pretty on par with SS. Fake karakura is bad but thats just the story. Hueco Mundo is good pretty much throughout.

Some of you dont seem to remember what it was like reading/watching Bleach for the first time. Hueco Mundo had a lot of suspense. We didnt know all the espadas, we didnt know what Ulquiorras rank was. We didn't know if the gang measured up to the espadas. Theres a lot of intrigue on that part of the story. Its also edgier than SS and darker and cooler. Fake karakura was a low point but it still had its moments and it picked right back up once Ichigo joined.

Bleach is just straight up great. These new shounen shows nowadays are downright embarrassing with how theyre lacking in coolness and intrigue.

Gradual, literally Orihime is the proof. I like her Substitute Shinigami / Soul Society style, but at some point being captured by Aizen and having that white dress Kubo started drawing her more and more serious & womanly until we end up with the timeskip designs.
