I think Avatar gets so overpraised because it's a western cartoon(and even then I prefer stuff like Courage the coward dog or Batman the animated series) and there are very low expectations when it comes to those but when you step into the anime world it's not such a big deal. It barely stands out when compared with greats of anime. Still a good show but not the "flawless masterpiece" that the fags claim it is.
