The start of the Manga is just not very good and that's what matters the most. Its bad at selling the premise and what its really about. Even if it became amazing 50 chapters later, it doesn't matter when most of the readers have already left.

Magazine is in a bad place. Sunday at least has many works which are enjoyed by critics and enthusiasts. I don't get why the EiC loves ecchi so fucking much. When I started reading Manga, Magazine stood for Sports and Delinquents. Now its 90% garbage.

Action scenes are poorly choreographed, arcs dragged on for way too long, too many flashbacks, random mobs are given solo chapters just to kill them right after to pretend like the manga has any stakes, too many cliffhangers kead to little to ni payoff, it pretty much shits on the entire toku genre and fanbase, some of this gets better later on but overall it's not very well written, the "lore" and concept is interesting but it gets dragged down by poor plot and lame characters

That would be jump.
When they started the K-manga service they simulpubbed the big current running series, but that was mostly to squash scanlations, after that they barely picked up anything new it's not like they need to, they have a large backlog that they tried to purge the scanaltions for.
It's not like the new series are doing any good anyway, some get scanlations that are dozens of chapters behind, but you'll have to search for that.

From ecchis Kanan is getting scanlations pretty regularly, it's only a couple of chapters behind.
Don't even bother with the simulpubbed version if they have one since they go crazy with black boxes.
