Worm dude and his three friends had a decent showing but it was a 4v1. I don't know why these guys thought they stood a chance.
Speaking of HxH a big reason why I didn't like the election arc is that it made the entire hunter association look like jobbers. Hisoka and Illumi could basically do whatever the fuck they wanted and nobody could even slow them down. Obviously they're top-tier fighters but I thought it was mostly a big fish in a small pond situation and they just happened to be stronger than most of the characters we had met so far; the hunter association is pretty big after all. Instead it seems like Hisoka, the troupe and the Zoldick family are in the top 1% and they can basically beat anyone besides Ging and maybe Razor.

I just realized that Sandro's writing is at its worst when he writes fighters as villains. Fighters as freaks are alright, non-fighters as villains too, but fighters as villains just don't work for him at all.
