Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if they haven't had a hit since Xillia. Direct sequels never do as good so that nixes Xillia 2 and because Zestiria shares the same continuity as Berseria, the Zestiria backlash probably bled into it.
Almost a decade and a half without a banger, yeah they're probably scared to do a new mainline.

Tales of Hebephillia

I only really enjoyed Tales of the Abyss and largely because of Ion and Florian, by far the best characters in the entire series. Holy fuck I wanted to be stepped on by them all the time.
