>No chapter
I got a little excited. Guess OP just wanted to have a Baki thread.
So where does the story go from here? Jack fighting more people until Itagaki gets bored of that and has Baki defeat him in ten seconds?
At any rate, I hope my man Shibukawa gets some screen time.

I'm personally just headcanoning it as their sizes being artistically portrayed. Jack was looking to be the predator here so he's much bigger.

Size is malleable in the Bakiverse. Sukune was looking up at Yujiro, after all.
Or maybe Itagaki fucked up his own scaling so much that it confused himself, leading to Katou's "Baki's so small, though".
>>283050007 >Sukune was looking up at Yujiro, after all.
That one specifically is some vibes thing. Sukune knows that he's taller than Yujiro but his presence was just that strong that it made him feel small.

There's been too much action recently, we need another chapter where the lads are just sitting around eating a ten-course meal while waxing philosophical about strength or something. Or even better, something like the Sukune-combing-his-hair chapter. Show us Jack's morning teeth maintenance, drug cocktail and shower.

He should've know Yujiro for too long at that point to even be thinking this way.
Looking back, Katou had a Strydum-moment before fighting Baki recently.
>>283050683 >Yujiro beats up a starving African child to prove he's still got it less than a month after he proved he's still got it
Wow.... bravo Itagaki
>>283053409 >Great Hunter
That's funny. Did he actually appear anywhere else in the manga, though? Not that I remember, but that doesn't mean much.
I also like the theory it's Itagaki himself/a self-insert of sorts.

Last chapter cemented Hanada as an important™ character. Probably destined to be Jack's final opponent, as a clash of philosophies. Also Itagaki finally doing something with Motobe's supposedly s-tier barehanded martial arts through Hanada. He's growing on me desu

That's not even headcanon. There have been multiple confrontations between characters where they felt a strange gulf in size despite there not being a significant differential. Remember how Sukune found himself looking UP at Yujiro despite being nearly a foot taller?
Character size has always been a matter of emphasizing certain traits or portraying a character as especially imposing.

I'd actually love a chapter dedicated to whatever you could call a "normal" day in Jack's life. We almost had that in the chapter where he ate the beef that Hanayama sent him and then Yujiro came over to visit, but I want to see if he actually has any kind of non-training routine to his day. We basically only ever see him doing freak exercises like the jaw hanging bit, but there's no way he's doing that stuff all the time anymore.
>>283053409 >the great hunter
Fucking based kek. He does remind me of the hunter from the world is mine though. My schizo brain says Baki got some inspiration of that.
Yujiro's backstory and feats added to his character has made him completely removed from being a relateable human being before the story of Baki officially begins. So we go from a monster that makes the world collectively shit itself in fear the day he was born, to not being able to open a doorknob and getting bodied by a guy he normally would have slapped to death.
>>283064349 >Did he die?
Considering the attack Yujiro used to him out (if I remember that one clearly), he should have.
But I suppose people in the Bakiverse have walked off worse injuries.

No... Have they done that too? Just unrelated bs like mentioning Corona, Palestine, some Sri Lankan scammer only his inner circle knows anything about, him showing himself with his gf twice... Like, I want to read Baki, not his sissy Discord drama.
