Considering they've got Toh EnJoe writing this, it's safe to say this won't be a one to one adaptation of the manga. It'll probably take the same approach as the movie and SAC where the outline for stories from the manga is used but in its own way. It will probably be the most similar to the manga in terms of tone and aesthetics though.
