Naruto only has good tactics that work because he is the type to try anything in the fly, and succeeds through sheer power and will. He is pretty durable and hits hard for some odd reason, while having a healing factor. He works as a genius in some regards, despite his other pitfalls in intellect. Learning Shadow clones was considered impressive, aided by his large chakra pool. Kurama is also a blatant nerf to his base jutsu, and is pretty much said to make chakra control more difficult. Since notably the SRA, emotions have been a weakness to him as well.

Also Jiraiya didn’t teach him much even in Part 1. Naruto’s main weapon Rasengan was Minato’s jutsu, Jiraiya just handed him a balloon and said good luck. Naruto was smart enough to use clones. He’s getting nerfed purely to hype up Sasuke and to give Naruto a hurdle to overcome, since he’s been miffing Sauce for most of the manga up to this point

It's overhated. I liked Sai and Yamato, the glowie ops theme, the Nine Tails plotline and one or two other things. I think this arc suffers greatly from what feels like a harsh direction change right from the next one. Sai, Yamato and Orochimaru are sidelined, the Nine Tails plotline stops being relevant, Naruto catches up with Sasuke with just a little bit of training, Sasuke's entire personality changes the next time we see him. This arc really sucks for people ITT because there is no emotional weight to the actions that carry over to (you). The consensus here is that Sasuke is right, and that Naruto is acting like a clingy tard. This is juxtaposed with what is aim of what Kishi is going for, which is Sasuke being converted to the dark side and Naruto is here to try to sway him back. If you think Sasuke is justified, then this utterly falls flat. If you don’t, you’re just seeing Naruto acting estrogenic to some guy he doesn’t know much about. This place is anti-moralfagging so it’s not going to interest most on here. Hating it hinges on some of the elements I mentioned. It’s still the consensus weakest arc in Naruto either way.

Naruto has a twin who had the power of the Kyuubi sealed into him while Naruto took his brains. Minato and Kushina are still alive and they dote on the twin while Naruto grew up neglected but this only honed his will to become powerful.
It's a harem with Hinata, Tenten, Samui and Tayuya.
Minato, Kushina, Jiraiya, Kakashi, Sasuke & Sakura bashing. Also Kumo because they're black and make me uncomfortable.

Oh and I'm going to advertise the story as Godruto! but make Naruto a 1000 times weaker than he is at the end of canon. I don't know how he's going to deal with Obito/Black Zetsu but I don't need to worry about that as I'm going to stop writing around the Land of Waves arc.
