Kamachi likely need a new take on him because GT 5 Hamazura which was like only a week ago in series, wouldn't be the king of guy who want to destroy the world.
The same problem with Stiyl becoming Izzard 2.0 in GT and completely different from the person at the end of OT talking to Touma before Touma's sacrifice. He at least had more of an excuse because for the 2 months before GT started in the time of NT. We didn't see much of Stiyl in NT till the end when he was already under the fake news demon, fake news. So we honestly don't know must of what happen to Stiyl in that time and KnT taking over the United Kingdom and taking Index's hostage in NT 22R. All could of finally trigger something that was being build up offscreen the like 2 months of NT with Stiyl and leading to how he is throughout GT. That is still nothing but an excuse of maybe why Stiyl is how he been in GT. If Kamachi doesn't write about it, it is only an excuse for how must he had butcher the character that Stiyl was by the end of OT.
