I had quite the fun time watching both seasons with 4chan. Just know that almost all characters in S2 are assholes. The only lovable character for me was Roadrunner.

Unless you feel like reading through a giant heap of old threads in the archives from when it aired, you'll miss out on most of the fun. It's comfy, and you get used to the 3DCG, but a giant amount of fun is the fan contents. There was a lot of theorizing and shitposting in the threads and I miss it dearly.
It's like Touhou. You could play one of the games on easy mode just to clear it and that's it, but as franchises, both have a lot to offer.

Watch the first season. It’s unironically one of the most beautiful anime I’ve ever seen. Such a pure and fun show destroyed by a greedy company...
