Got into Fate because I got the Heaven's feel trilogy as a present so while I have a soft spot for that one on top of liking it the most out of the three routes, I can get behind every complaint regarding the detrimental changes from the visual novel.
If I had to pick one then it would be the Oath under the Snow Movie. Not a fan of Prillya because the first two are boring but Shirou's revamped course of action towards favoring a single person over the world under the notion of putting family first while actually becoming a competent fighter was quite a sight.

Heaven's Feel. It does have some flaws, but they're minor compared to how it brings out the best parts of the source material and fixes its flaws.

like objectively, in terms of quality of animation, pacing, voice acting, and OST, then FZ+UBW combo, maybe HF after. I wish first route had a proper adaptation too, not that I don't like the Studio Deen one, still better would be nice. Ufotable are you free? Guess not :(
