all things must come to an end.
and it's for the best anyway, either you end it on it's peak or you keep dragging it until it becomes a shell of its former self.

What is with americans and the mindset of “keep a show going for as long as humanly possible until it becomes a zombified shell of its former self”

What could've possibly went wrong if they just gave it one more season? It's not like they could ever make 1000+ Azumanga Daioh episodes like it's One Piece.
I'm doing my 3rd rewatch right now. for the first two watches I skipped the final two episodes because I heard it's a massive bummer and there's a big implication that they're going to part ways permanently after they graduate. I'm not sure if I want to finish the final two episodes or not this rewatch... but there's always a possibility that if I don't I could get T-boned at an intersection and never be able to finish the series

Because there was no need to continue.
They finished high school and went their separate ways. Osaka became a teacher, Sakaki a veterinarian, Chiyo went to study abroad, etc. They wouldn’t be together anymore.
It wouldn’t be Azumanga Daioh without the Azumangas being united.
Azumanga was one of the few high sol shows that ended perfectly along with its manga. shows like Nichijou and Lucky Star just stopped without a proper conclusion.

It was fine in length. It didn't even air as a regular anime, each short segment aired during commercials and then later they would get compiled into "episodes"

Actually Nyamo, because she has more pent up romantic/sexual energy than Yukari, who I'd expect to be in a cycle of drunk partying, getting laid and regret.
This one of the few anime that had a really good EN dub. I know Osaka's is controversial but I liked it. Tomo's EN voice was fucking great, shame her VA disappeard. Anyway great show, but there's really no need for a sequel

You said the exact same thing in the gochi thread. People have told you numerous times why they don’t like AI, but for some reason that brain of yours inside your Indian skull doesn’t seem to be able to process the words.
>>283684756 >not exactly sure what you want to create >guide your procgen over several iterations until you see something similar to the vague, incomplete idea you had in your mind >”hmmm, yeah I like that”
yeah, that’s definitely the same kind of intent/control that legitimate artists have in their work. You’re so braindead it hurts

Someone using AI generation software, Controlnet AND an image editor has full control over all seven elements of art.
You are the low-IQ one if you cannot grasp this simple concept.

To be fair, Americans let their comics run for over decades ala capeshit or hell over a century in the case of old newspaper strips like Barney Google
it just makes me so sad but I rather it ends than be dragged into a decade's long affair of filler, jumping the shark, yuribaiting and other needless additions to prolong the series. It's like memories of old times with old friends before we all went our separate ways.
