When the demon sisters showed up in the original it was interesting, now it's a chore whenever they show up unless you're one of their autist fans.
When brief appeared in the original, it was interesting, I literally lavished every interaction between brief and panty and stocking, but in this new season they made it boring.
The man angels are interesting, but they were reduced to a one-note joke every time.

No. It was okay, I liked some of it but I dislike the direction it took in sanding down the characters edge and the whole found family theme, 3 segments an episode killed the pacing and left us with a lot of half-baked ideas and the Angel brothers are the biggest missed potential characters I've seen in a while. One note joke that was funny once and then they clearly had nothing else to write for the characters. And while I don't watch PSG for the plot I found myself disappointed with how they changed how Heaven and Hell felt. It doesn't make much sense to me for Panty and Stocking to be shitty slut angels when Heaven is filled with people that are identical, it makes the setting less interesting. I still enjoyed the music and I appreciated the continuing mixing up of art styles (the Jack Kirby segment was the best segment of S2 imo, outside of EP1 and Poly brothers showing up) but for the most part a lot of it was dull. This isn't nostalgia either I rewatched S1 a week before S2 aired and I loved it even more this time around.
