I'm not sure if Umetsu ever actually liked doing the extremely explicit sex scenes, most of his works (other than A Kite) worked well if you just toned down or even cut out the sex scenes, they often served no purpose, seemed like just a thing Arms pushed onto the movies because they were a hentai company.
