I only know of ones that have scenes here and there. The ones dedicated to it are just not good. Main issue for me with wegs is the composition. A lot of focus on showing the entire or most of the body when a closer shot of the face/bust with a slightly wider FOV would make it look miles better.

Honey Select 2 is a weird game. I have to turn down EV (exposure value) to -100 and crank the lights to 8+ (default value is 1+) or else in dark scenes the hair will have a weird shine, everything will be dark but the hair will just be highlighted more than anything, and my weg is set in a permanent night state.
Every time I load my lighting preset, I have to turn down reflection probes and sometimes reload the lighting preset.
There is also a discrepancy between the character maker lighting and the studio lighting. Learning how to deal with that.
Models get their bone modifications warped up sometimes, so I need to reload the whole scene again and hope that I don't have to do it three more times.
Very unsatisfied with lighting, etc, but getting better at it.
The volumetric lights that were released a month ago also take a while to get used to, with the scattering coefficient and all that shit.

Middle and right are custom imported heads with custom skin overlays. Can't change the sliders for them, just colours and skin overlays to make them look more realistic.

To add my two cents I think if you are going to have the sister in the story then it is worth it to make it incestuous, thematically it fits with the 70s insanity you are going for but it also allows you to utilise a character who otherwise would be purely exposition. Whilst I do not wish to seem contradictory with my anti-pandering to the audience messaging I would personally add I am a fan of incest and since you brought it up it seems like you have atleast an idea of where to go with it.

Well, as for his schizophrenia, it'll casually be shown in random renders and sounds because with schizophrenia you often just have random people standing or just being there, random voices. Not inherently evil looking or sounding. The fear in schizophrenia comes from the sudden appearance of something that shouldn't be there, not that the hallucinations are inherently evil-looking. And hallucinations have object permanence, weirdly enough, so it can't just be "evil shadow man" in every render.
But yes, the MC himself is "haunted" by a perma hallucination which is a female maternal one (more incest potential?) that's been in his mind since he was a baby.
Still have to work through all that, though, find the right spot between creepy and buxom mama for her.

Best way to do it in my opinion, especially if you are going with a flashback style mental examination of a family culture. Whilst I won't ask for specifics of the story as I'm quite looking forward to experiencing what you'll put together, having an incestuous connection with a mother/maternal figure would go a long way to making incest feel more grounded. Similarly having the connection with the sister being forged early on but not fully explored is another way to lock in the fact that these are not well adjusted people which really helps sell how a brother and sister fall in love/sleep with each other/live off one another. Now perhaps this will read as a little eye rolling and I do not intend it to be so but I would caution against any 'other man' being involved in the sister's story either during or before the story, I do not know if you were present in this general a couple weeks ago when the game Haley's Story was being discussed but that sort of involvement in incestuous media very much deflates much of the appeal. Though without assuming too much, seeming as you are posting in this thread rather then the other, I have faith in your project and writing.

The mental hospital itself is populated by women. It's all nurses, no male orderlies. I don't even want a hint of NTR or anything related to that.

It is just a shame, it had alot of good elements from what I saw (I skipped through anything not including her). I touched on it in that discussion but it was borderline schizophrenic with the tone it wanted to set and how whilst I get the concept of adding tragedy for realism it was utterly as unnecessary as 'love interest dies because of lightning' would be. The fact that the sex scene includes her roleplaying as losing her virginity to you was so odd when they could have had it be real in that instance by not including any of what the dev chose to add. I actually ended up 'finishing it' with the aforementioned skipping tactic and it ends with her pregnant by you but you pretend she got knocked up by some random guy, ROMANTIC! basically the story has to parallel narratives. the first is a sequence of flashbacks presented as a man telling stories to his therapist. the second is the present day where the man is living in an asylum. the reason for his commitment isn't revealed at first. the flashbacks are all about the man's girlfriend. in the present day narrative the therapists believe the girlfriend is a schizo delusion and are trying to convince the man she isn't real. the flashbacks contain subtle hints that she might not be real, for example during a date the man orders for her and eats her food because she says she isn't hungry, and when traveling on the subway she jumps the turnstile instead of buying a ticket. the second to last flashback reveals that the man and his schizo gf tried to commit double suicide which is how he ended up in the asylum. then a final flashback that takes place before all of the other ones reveals that the girlfriend was real but died in an accident, causing him to delude himself that she was still alive as cope. the present day narrative deals with the man's life in the asylum with the doctors trying to convince him the girlfriend wasn't real. the secondary heroine is one of the therapists trying to seduce him thinking it will make him forget about the schizo gf.

you can use these ideas if you want for free for the sake of wegdom, but otherwise I'm gonna sell it to christopher nolan and become rich.

They're all tied together with characters from each game making cameos. A lot of the characters that have names but don't seem to have a significant role in Guardian are actually major players, such as Marshal who only has like 5 lines in The Guardian but is the protag in Personal Assistant.
