I'm considering taking shrooms again because about 2 years ago i tripped a few times and I feel like they relieved my depression and overall existential anxiety for a while afterwards and helped me see the positive in life for a while. But lately I've been feeling kind of shitty again. I'm just nervous to go back down the psychedelic rabbit hole again because tripping wasn't always a comfortable experience and wonder if microdosing would be a better bet?

I can recommend ketamine. A copious dose. After that ur depression will be gone for at least 6 months. If you use these months of relief to better your life, it might even be permanent.

In 2023 I was part of a clinical trial testing the impact of Psilocybin on otherwise-treatment-resistant depression. I remember the psychiatrist who was in charge of the trial mentioning that. He had no reason to lie.

I mean, he had no reason to lie about the existence of research that suggested that; it wasn't merely an opinion. As far as my own personal experience goes, I had two trips during the trial, the first wonderful and the second very bad, and I think the second did help a little more.
