What should I do with my life?
>Be me
>Dream is to become a clinical psychologist
>Applied with 3 universities
>Got rejected by all of them
>Now stuck with a boring job

Is this it? Am I gonna live the rest of my life like this?

Why not become a CBT psychotherapist?

That sounds interesting. How do you do it? Because this is the 1st time I've heard of it

Try a local university.

That depends on the country that you reside in. Just google it

I just googled it, that path looks even harder than the usual clinical psychologist route in my country. I'm so lost... T.T

OP can you do psychology in the Air Force? That might be a great option for you.

Does your country have the equivalent of community colleges (USA) or 6th form colleges (UK) - places where you can spend a year pre-university to build up your education and credentials to make it more likely you'll be accepted by universities next year?

Well generally clinical psychology is post-graduate education. In my country (in Europe) you first do masters degree in psychology and then another 4 years in psychotheraphy in a private school. I cannot give you any advice but do you have a degree in psychology or in a simillar field? It's generally easier to get jobs and adjacent experience if you do that (certain jobs that involve working with children don't require any post-graduate schooling)

There's more than 3 you know? There's even ones abroad too.

I've already graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology, even got a good grade (3.82 CGPA), I met all of the requirements for the clinical psychology programs

Yeah, the 3 I applied for are public unis because they're cheaper. Private ones are more expensive, but i guess they're my only choices now, don't even know if i can get accepted tho. Studying overseas was my initial dream, but i gave up because of a lack of funding.
