Should I quit my job even though it's been 1 week?
So this is my first job and signed on as Front of Store Attendant at Target. First 2 days I was on register and had a couple screw ups:
>Day 1 I forgot to give guest required change
>Day 2 I forgot to give a bag to a guest because I thought the bag was empty
On Day 3, I was assigned to carts. I wasn't really feeling well as I had a sinus infection and pulled a couple of muscles but I kept quiet on the sinus part.
It was way too hard on my body, I was straining my arms and legs to the point it was hurting to move around (Still hurts now), kept accidentally disconnecting the machine to push carts, struggling to push 7 or 8 carts by hand, struggling to maneuver the carts from left to right, etc. It was 100 degrees out too so that didn't help.
Once my shift ended and i can finally get a breather, I asked my ETL if I can change my role to anything but cart attendant, it's way too hard on my skinny body. She said only other role is Cashier and I said that'd be fine by me but she'd need to talk to the HR ETL and make a phone call to corporate to change my role. If it doesn't happen, I might need to quit as I legit think I'm gonna end up fucking up my body if I continue as a cart attendant.

It sounds like you desperately need the exercise.

EVERY job is hell for the first week, until you get into the rhythm of it

This. The first week is always the toughest and will make you want to bail, but humanity adapts and overcomes. Don't make any hasty decisions.
