Remember that black pills of any kind are a targeted psyop to demoralize men and either keep them depressed in minimum wage jobs or convince them to kill themselves, depending on the psychological makeup of the man in question. Believing a black pill is allowing genuinely soulless crabs win, and you certainly don't want that.

Buddhism is the most direct route to unseat your cognition from your (valid) hormonal reactions to the environment. Unfortunately the west doesn't support it ideologically so you will still have to face the ideological cognition of the people in your environment.
Good luck anon, let me know if you have more questions.

>Just stop caring bro, attachment is suffering
I can see the value in Buddhism and respect it's teachings and think highly of it's practitioners (although I wish they would accept Christ as their Lord and Savior), but the last thing people want to hear when they are surrounded by those with what is wanted but not had is to try to convince them that it doesn't matter.
It's not even a material wanting, it's a desire for relationship, love, and a feeling of belonging.
It isn't easy walking around seeing happy couples and groups of friends laughing when you have no friends in the area, are a kissless virgin, and insecure about how you look.

I denied myself nothing my eyes desired;
I refused my heart no pleasure.
My heart took delight in all my labor,
and this was the reward for all my toil.
Yet when I surveyed all that my hands had done
and what I had toiled to achieve,
everything was meaningless, a chasing after the wind;
nothing was gained under the sun.

That's exactly what I'm saying with western society not supporting it. We live in an overgrown tribe with metamodern values. We no longer collectively honor the bond between individual and society. Every person has a schizophrenic kaleidoscope in their pocket telling them all kinds of crazy shit 24/7, it shapes our values, tramples on your desire. It takes a lot of strength to hoist up your own values enough to become socially visible in this society.
So I guess in this state of affairs you need to guard your desires from being trampled on and your values from being scrambled by the schizophrenic kaleidoscope

I see the point you are making and agree, but the schizo in my pocket isn't causing me to see happy people on campus when I walk to class or back to my apartment.
I don't think all of these people are living perfect lives but they at least have something to live for, I don't and it makes it hard to find motivation to keep caring at all. Imagining goals or desired outcomes can only get you so far until you start to ask yourself why you give double the effort and mental willpower for a fraction of the reward others are given on a red carpet.

The problem with the schizo in your pocket is that he is the one who raised you. Boomers hated their children and they gave them oblivion. You were given nothing when you were supposed to be cultivated by society into a good person

Yet again, it's an attention issue, and I know this advice will probably fall on deaf ears. In addition to my STEM education, I've always been a popular science nut, endlessly fascinated by what the future holds, as well as fascinated by nature, art and beautiful things generally. Current events and personal issuesare small by comparison.

I realized this a few years ago myself, it's painfully obvious to anyone once you take a step back and analyze the phenomenon and how it suddenly rose to prominence in the last 8 years

You don't know a thing about those people, though, no? You're imagining how they put in less effort than you but you've never talked to them and confirmed it, you're just making shit up to make yourself less motivated to get up and do shit

You actually have to behave in a way that aligns with what you believe/want to believe. You are what you do. You think the juice is worth the squeeze and tomorrow can be better? Then you have to do the work and live in such a way you make tomorrow better than the last day.
Lift weights. Stack money. Don't be bitter. You already know this. It's hard. But you have to do the shoe slogan. Anything else is coping or highbrow procrastination.
