Everyone at work hates me
Or at least 80-90 % of it. Started a new job last month and everything was going well until three weeks ago. Two guys who started later than me started shittalking to me and after a couple days I told one of them to fuck off and he did, the other one was silent for a few days and started again. I took him out of the office to talk with him and it escalated into shouting and threatening each other. We were warned by HR not to do that again, the day after everything was fine but the weekend after I see more people got distanced and colder, some actively sabotage my work and try to make me look stupid while I excel most of them. Another week passes and it becomes even worse. Lots of gossip without me knowing anything that is said and using the few allies bit by bit.

Usually I don't care but even when I ignore it it stresses me and I become sick and need to take days off.

Tips?

Don't get into a shouting match with anyone at work. Or outside of work for that matter. It never results in something positive happening and it's always a waste of time. At best you look like an asshole in public. At worst it escalates and you go to prison.
Practical advice though? Get a candy bucket. Keep it stocked up and up high, near the top of your cubicle. Encourage anyone and everyone to stop by for some candy from the bucket. Keep some sugar free sweets on hand as well for the diabetics and those watching their weight.
When they eventually do, ask them about their day. Give them a chance to vent. Listen, agree their situation sucks, and tell them good luck.
By offering them something sweet and an opportunity to bitch, you'll start climbing the office social ladder. They'll start protecting you since you give them something nobody else in that building does. A moment of reprieve from that soul draining existence.

Thing is, I live in a Balkan country and acting like that is seen as weakness here, and in my situation would be seen as buying their loyalty, also feeding into their fucked up sense of weakness.

The only thing I can say is: whenever I am upbeat and energetic it feels like I am garlic to vampires, their presence becomes small. When I become more worried and paranoid they sense it and latch onto sucking out my negative emotions. In the first days of the week I feel great, but in the middle I feel suddenly drained, sickly and anti-social, weekend recovers me and the cycle starts again.

It kinda sounds like your masking a little, Anon. Bring the donuts and candy and remain upbeat to kill them, then when your on your FreeTime tap out and relax when no one's watching to re-energize.

I dunno what you mean with masking. I am simply in a better mood in the beginning of the week than later on.
