How the fuck do I get a job? I'm a majoring in CS and I went to some national convention for CS people and couldn't land a single fucking thing. Now I need to look for some retard retail job or something. Is my life over?

yeah it's basically over. it used to be the career of choice for joining the middle class because if the huge demand
now it's a field like any other.
if you have the right connections / capital, you'll have a career.

Yeah, I've been spamming them for months. 99% of the time I get ghosted or auto-rejected, out of the 1%, maybe I'll land some interviews but I'll just fail out either at the technical portion or on the fifth stage of the interview process or something fuck my life

Get industry tech certs. You don't have to program, most don't.
If you insist, its easier to do from a position of strength.

The struggle is real i also got a CS type degree because getting some degree is mandatory and free here. I've applied even to the McDonalds tier positions and i'm still fucking unemployed it's insane how hard it is to get any job today. I'd cum in my pants instantly if i got accepted for a warehouse or housekeeping job

Interviews are going to be rare so when you get them you need to absolutely CRUSH it. You can do it man, don't give up. Study for the interview. Be that guy recruiters hate.

Is it too late to pivot to an actual engineering major? You probably have most of the requisite math and physics out of the way already.
