>be me
>have heart valve damage from shitty doctor putting me on even shittier medication
>no not the vax I'm not that fucking stupid
>legs swell up hugely because of the valvular damage
>at night end up getting up to piss three times
>yesterday night
>accidentally scrape leg on sharp corner of shitty bedframe
>small amount of blood which seems unusually watery
>leg is actually dripping, though, repeatedly
>lay down in bed figuring I'll just wash the sheets after they get all bloody
>after an hour or so
>sheets are literally soaking wet, so is mattress topper
>like, fully saturated with liquid
>not blood just clear liquid
>only wake up once all night to piss
>wake up an hour ago
>legs are the smallest they've been in over a year
I'm kind of torn between "I should do this every night" and "why the fuck was my leg literally leaking water". Is this a positive thing or a dangerous thing or what? Any quacks around to tell me WTF is going on?

obviously not a doc but you prob need a combination of diuretics(pills that make you pee more to get rid of excess water), thrombosis stockings and lymphatic drainage. see a doc or not, anyway take care

Thanks! I used to be on furosemide but it stopped working for me (just made my kidneys hurt BAD). I occasionally think about the special socks but haven't gotten around to getting them, guess I really should. Hadn't heard of "lymphatic drainage" before, I'll look into it.

Water legs, also known as edema, is swelling caused by too much fluid trapped in the body's tissues. It often affects the legs and feet, and can be caused by various factors including medicines, pregnancy, diseases (such as congestive heart failure, kidney disease, venous insufficiency, or cirrhosis of the liver), or lifestyle factors like sitting or standing for long periods.
