1% I get into the interviews.
Always get ghosted even after really good, positive interviews.

Talked with a distant family member who is a manager, she told me that she and a lot of people she knows try not to hire zoomers cause they're lazy.

Like go in person and be nice and talk with some workers there. Make an effort to establish a fine presence where you want to work. look up your local community college and find Trade school opportunities. STA skilled trades and arts. Welding? HVAC? Electrician? Machine Tooling? Trucking? Mechanic? Ect... There's always options to cover funding. Take the 3 month courses for a trade you'd enjoy.

Follow up with them, dont use a recruiter (some businesses dont trust the pool of employees that go through them), write a simple cover letter stating that ehile you may not be a career employee you will work as if that is your goal. But yeah, nobody likes zoomers work ethic or complete lack of it. I thought it was one of those "the next generation is shit" type of things like boomers with millenials, but its not, zoomers are terribly lazy. If you are a hard worker it will show, but i can almost garuntee it is your fault.

Listen dumb dumb. When the economy goes into a downturn big corporations pause hiring and even start rounds of layoffs to maintain profitability. Employees are a number to them. If the number is too high and too costly, they don't hire. It's very basic economics.

What is happening to OP is that they are submitting resumes that are going into a box that nobody is checking right now.
