>>935743526Consciousness is a combination of spirit and matter. It doesn't exist after death, but the 'signal' that defines you persists.
It's like smashing the body of a radio, the expecting the signal to vanish. it still exists. The signal can be interpreted by more radio-bodies tuned to that frequency in the future.
Analogies aside, death is not the end.

My thoughts on life and death aside, how would you merge what you personally consider to be 'consciousness' with a machine?
A copy, even if perfect would not be you.
If you mean to preserve your physical brain and link it to a machine array/network in order to experience anything you want on demand, I hope no one accidentally pulls the plug, or power/machinery otherwise fails.
If you were to do this, you would want to preserve more than your brain anon. Other portions of your body have neurons in them too, especially your heart. Imagine feeling something missing, forever. that weight would be immense.
