golden age of blacked is dead. They burst onto the scene by finding young relatively inexperienced talent and showcasing them in not just hot IR scenes but with a much higher standard of scripting, storytelling, cinematography, acting etc than other porn at the time, which also made it appeal to women (in the past most IR porn was extremely rough or intentionally degrading)

What happened is they got too convinced of the formula, and less of talent (and diluted the brand with blacked raw). I bought a sub on black friday once and ripped a bunch of vids and there's a handful of iconic scenes (elsa 3some, alexa grace, mia melano) than maybe a dozen stars who's scenes are all hot (lana, jia etc), and after that maybe 5-10% are actually good enough to jerk it to. Even then you could see a decline say from Elsa's first scene to her last. Hell I think 80% of their scenes were actually worse in 2k/4k where you could see how busted the whores were.

Blacked should have been 90% 18-25 year olds who were actually hot getting railed with good stories etc and a couple of milfs, thicks, latinas, asians etc. But looking at their catalogs there's way too many 30+ year olds who would get turned away by Harvey weinstein.
