How many acres?
Im kind of jealous. I have 40 acres but its mostly sand and clay, not much exposed bedrock. Although I do have a forest and a creek. And my own dirt bike track with a couple straight aways over a 1/4 mile long- kind of cool to hit 70mph in my backyard.
I miss boulders though.

I'm happy for you OP. I have 2 acres in the middle of the woods (I have a house here) and it's very nice. I sit my back porch at night and listen to the toads trilling and spring peepers in the swampland behind my house. I love living out here. It's honestly the best. I shoot guns on my property and everything.

As far as the minerals I don't feel like that's a great deal because strip mining it is going to be too expensive and the 7k isn't really worth it, but the property itself may go up in value depending on what's near it / how close it is to stuff.

You'd honestly probably make a better investment building a structure on it like a modest home or a hunting camp, although depending on how close water / electrical wire is it'll be a tough sale.
