Realistically speaking, how much money would it take an average joe like get to the moon and hang in there for a few days? It's always been my dream.

Not entirely sure, but last I heard, it was about $10k per pound to put cargo into low earth orbit, and a short ride for a human just to the Karman line was in the millions. I would expect it to cost hundreds of millions *at least* to put a civilian tourist on the moon. It'd be an amazing experience though.

$1200 or so realistically. For the VR headset and a big trampoline.

Depends on whether your are buying the launch, orbiter and lander or making it all from scratch. Either way, a cool billion aught to do it.

Okay this actually isn't very difficult to calculate if you were just using metrics of what's been shipped up. That's usually public knowledge. The behind the scenes amounts and pr bullshit you know someone that knows someone. It'd definitely be a lot more than what they're quoting, assuming you don't die riding a fucking rocket hundreds of miles. I mean you're on a missile designed for range to not explode, the goal of most rockets/missiles is to explode so you better be a bit cocky about it not going wrong like that titanic submarine disaster. in the news recently. Quite a few people are still interested in it. I mean personally I don't see the appeal if you're not qualified to find funding to do it while you're up there to recoup your costs. I mean even second generation astronauts get their house burglarized while there not around and say shit like it's practically impossible for modern people to do the kind of thing they did.

I mean it depends on your time frame. The ISS is scheduled to be destroyed. Nasa fucked up so bad with their rockets they just hired Russians to do it so they had someone else to blame if things went sideways. I mean you're not paying me I'm not going to do that kind of math unless you were a friend of a friend or something, and maybe half the time I'm hoping you take them with you.
