it really does take a lot of nerve for a nation to be able to launch mass air bombing attacks on Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, and Iran all in the space of one week, and then turn to another country and demand billions for "self defence" and claim to be the victim.

Because that's something you entirely made up.
I DO remember that the national assets of Iran have been frozen in multiple countries, and that Iranian money held in South Korea, Oman and Quatar was authorized for release, to make payments for electricity supply from Iraq as part of terms of release negotiations for five American citizens held hostage in Iran. Not a single cent of US taxpayer money, and absolutely no "palettes full of billions" were involved. Nor did a single cent of it fund "rockets."
(the US does give billions every year - but not to Iran. That goes to Israel - in fact that totals in excess of 220 billion dollars of American taxpayer's money which has been given to Israel since 1946.)
So, OP,
why do you hate american citizens and think they should have remained in iranian jails?
why do you think that the US gave Iran money, when all the US did was allow Iran to spend Iran's money?
why do you think money was spent on rockets, when the spending was tightly controlled, and only on humanitarian aid for iranian people?
And why do you claim Trump "isnt kowtowing" to them, when it was Trump who unilaterally cancelled the multinational EU-US deals made with Iran which means the US and the rest of the world had monitoring on the ground, in iran, ensuring they were NOT producing nuclear weapons? If Iran is building weapons - then its his fault for cancelling that deal.
