It’s kind of a big ask for any franchise to have more than a good trilogy. At least we got SOME other good Star Wars content even though they milk that bitch dry. I wish they would just pay for the rights to some of the novels. There are some great stories.

It's because the original trilogy was just ww2 but with lasers, basically. The rest were just made to make money off of toy sales. The difference in quality is obvious

It’s not the worst shit ever. Star Wars has its fair share of woke bullshit and Disney faggotry influence but it could be worse lol it could have been like halo and that was a fucking disaster. Some gay niggers at paramount said yeah dude we don’t care that this franchise hit numbers for 20 years, we wanna do some dumb shit nobody asked for and blame the fans for not enjoying this different out of line shit LOL. Imagine having multiple books, games, and independent groups all producing a trove material to pull and some fucking gay paramount employee who never played the game said “yeah fuck all that, the helmet is coming off and he’s getting naked because nothing portrays a war between humans and alien more than sex. While we’re at, totally dismantle every dynamic of every character flip every white supporting character black. The fans are racist for not supporting this.

George's original cut of Star Wars was crap. Marcia fixed it in post production. This is what killed their marriage. George was butthurt about Marcia "destroying his creative vision" or whatever. But Start Wars wouldn't have been a massive success without her.
ESB is the best Star Wars because George was too busy with Indiana Jones to really fuck it up. Hence you get the most character development, world building, etc.
RotJ is when people started to get too scared to say "no" to George. It introduces a whole lot of ships just designed to sell toys, it has Lando and C3PO narrating (show us, don't tell us, George), it tries to spin torture as comedy because they're just droids...
The Phantom Menace is when George gets complete control of editing. You get dreadful dialogue, loads of boring file scenes, and Jar Jar, who was supposed to turn out to be the Yosa of the Sith, but George realised he made Jar Jar too ridiculous and couldn't pull it off.
So the Yoda/Jar Jar battle gets cancelled, but they still need a lightsaber fight. This requires them to come up with Count Dooku, and a convoluted explanation for him that makes no sense. Also George realises that he needs to plausibly show Anakin turning to the dark side, but he can't write dialogue, so you just get an annoying teenager.
I'll give George one thing, at least he could create characters that produced ax reaction. Even the prequels had characters people would talk about (Jar Jar, Darth Maul, Watto). The Disney sequels are just boring and all the characters are completely flat.
