Usually the reasons men have for hating trannies is different than why women hate them. Women are disgusted by trannies because they have no qualms invading women's spaces, sexually assaulting and raping women, and are fighting to erase women as a class. Men tend to hate trannies because of homophobia and misogyny. Pretty much every man who hates trannies also hates gay people by extension even though they are completely different things.
Men look down on anyone feminine-presenting, and yes, MTFs and faggots aren't women but men see them as being in the role of a women. They wonder "why would you lower yourself into being a woman (an inferior man)?" A lot of the time, transphobia, homophobia, and misogyny are all interlinked when talking about men with these views.
