Is buying a good quality inspired watch from an unknown brand for a drastically lesser price valid?
>>936067481 (OP)That Musk watch is rare AF and in ironically worth a lot.
>>936067481 (OP)Get a San Martin. Cheap and they work well and they have image watches if you want it to look like a swiss brand.
Why not get a good quality watch from a known brand instead?
You can't go wrong with a Seiko, especially the Seiko 5 line.
Citizen watches have had a resurgence in the past couple of years and are majorly "slept on" as the kids say.
Bulova, which is now owned by Citizen, has some really cool offerings like the Lunar Pilot, Jet Star, and Hack.
If you don't mind spending just a bit more, then look at Hamilton. Whatever your style, you'll find a Hamilton to match it. Military watches, dress watches, even funky stuff like the Ventura when you need to get your Men in Black on.
And, just wait a second before you flip out, Casio. Yeah, Casio. You can find a Casio to go with for every occasion. They are fun, cool, and quirky. And going to a G-Shock, you'll can get dive watches that you'd actually want to dive with.
I think the sub-$1500 price range is great because you can have so much fun with it. You can get great watches at a great price point instead of going with some no-name garbage trying to be a Rolex.
