What's the point of all these 4chan alternatives when all of them are equally bad with 4chan or worse? Same goes for "alternative" social media, "alternative" sites/communities etc.

>"Actually there are good 4chan alternatives. You just haven't find them.

No, there are not. And I've checked all of them since all of them are listed. The only ones I haven't checked are the ones in foreign languages I don't speak and the ones that have themes I dislike.

Even if there are some good 4chan alternatives, you refuse naming them because of your circle jerk ego and paranoia of not wanting outsiders to "ruin them".

When 4chan went down we saw the posters who weren't cancerous all show up on altchans. It was a good time there, free from all the spam and bots and astroturfing and phoneposters and cancerous retards. With all those people, the alt chans were decently populated and moving at a good pace, enough posts per hour to be a place you could hang out.

Then 4chan went back up and enough people went back that the "critical mass" was lost, so most of the people who would have liked to stay on altchans ended up also leaving because they just got too slow again.

But that downing proved that altchans can be good. Proved that the core users really haven't changed since the old days of 4chan and its all gone to shit because of all the garbage listed above.

I've always wondered why nobody has hit on the idea of "shadow forums" - these would be places that mirror some/all of the posts on a larger forum, but allow discussion of it away from the main forum.

The idea would be that you could still read 4chan, but you'd be having a conversation with people who aren't on 4chan ...and presumably, a conversation with people, not bots.

You are ESL so why would anyone just tell you where the good alternatives are? You need to speak English like a native to find them.

Why do anything at all,, when everything you do is a worse version of something that has already been done?
